The Village Dental Practice was opened in 2009 by Orla and is conveniently situated in the commuter town of Crossgar, between Downpatrick and Belfast.

DR ORLA MCCORMICK BDS
Principal Dentist
Orla graduated from Glasgow University in 2002. She worked for five years in a large NHS practice in Glasgow before moving back to Northern Ireland. The next two and a half years were spent working in private practice in Donaghadee. As she is originally from Crossgar, Orla decided to return to her roots. GDC No. 80522
She gained vast experience in both NHS and private dentistry working in practices both in Glasgow and Northern Ireland. Originally from Crossgar, in July 2009 Orla opened the practice and enjoys the benefits of living and working in her local community. Outside of working hours, Orla's time is spent enjoying her two lovely daughters.
DR FIONA MCCLELLAND BDS
Associate Dentist
Fiona graduated from Newcastle University in 2012. Fiona worked in a large NHS practice in North Yorkshire before deciding to return home to her roots (Fiona is from Ballynahinch).
She has a special interest in young and nervous patients and is currently a member of SAAD (The society for the Advancement of Anaesthetic in Dentistry). GDC No. 228074

JOAN DICKSON
Joan started in 2009 and is married with three grown up children. Joan loves playing and watching golf and is a past Lady Captain of Crossgar Golf Club. She enjoys meeting up with old friends and walking her two dogs Ronnie & Tommy with her husband John.

SANDRA RAFFERTY - BDN GDC: 134495
Sandra qualified as a dental nurse in 2003. Originally from Cork, she joined the practice in 2009. When she is not working she enjoys walking and travelling the world with friends. She is a keen reader, animal lover and painter.

NAOMI SAVIDGE BDN GDC: 276227
Naomi started in the Practice in 2016 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2018. She is a keen runner and member of the local running club. Having completed two marathons, she hopes to do more! She is also a qualified scuba diving instructor.

CATHERINE HANVEY BDN GDC: 266358
Catherine joined the practice in 2013 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2016. She has two beautiful children with whom she enjoys walking and baking. She also enjoys walking with her partner.

Toni was welcomed to the practice in May 2022 and is progressing through her dental nurse training.
